Restaurants & Food

The Barossa is a “foodies” heaven. Seasonal menus, many featuring regional produce will make your mouth water. Look for the distinctive “fork in a cork” logo of Food Barossa – the regional food marketing collective. You can be assured that Food Barossa products are the best.
And don’t forget to match your food with premium Barossa wines - some of our venues are also acclaimed for their international wine lists!

Many wineries offer light lunches and platters. For a light lunch, morning or afternoon tea there's an array of cafes, delicatessens, bakeries and take-away shops open seven days a week. Some feature traditional foods reflecting the German heritage of the Barossa. Remember, the locals have a healthy appetite too, so we recommend you book ahead.

See, smell, touch and taste first hand the distinctiveness of the Barossa by following the Barossa Butcher, Baker, Winemaker Trail - collect a copy from a Barossa Visitor Information Centre.
